The following organizations provide invaluable resources and support for new and experience school nurses.
- Missouri Association of School Nurses – https://missourischoolnurses.org/
- The Missouri Association of School Nurses is an affiliate of the National Association of School Nurses. They have over 400 active members from all areas of the state. The Missouri state organization is divided into eleven districts. We host several educational events every year, including the annual Spring Conference which is hosted on a rotating basis throughout various districts.

- The National Association of School Nurses is a non-profit specialty nursing organization, first organized in 1968 and incorporated in 1977, representing school nurses exclusively. NASN has more than 17,000 members and 50 affiliates, including one in the District of Columbia and on serving school nurse overseas. The mission of NASN is to optimize student health and learning by advancing the practice of school nursing.
- St. Louis Suburban School Nurses Association- https://slssna.com/
- St. Louis Suburban School Nurses’ Association is a district of the Missouri Association of School Nurses. They serve and support approximately 340 public and private school nurses in the metropolitan St. Louis area. They offer monthly meetings featuring speakers on topics of various interests to the membership. They present an annual Fall Workshop in October and co-sponsor School Nurse Survival Training every summer.
