We are developing trainings and resources for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel who care for K-12 students. We believe this is important because:
- RNs, LPNs, and UAPs assess, triage, and manage complex acute and chronic health conditions
- Many unlicensed assistive personnel perform tasks such as suctioning, catheterization, feeding tube care, and medication administration and may have limited or inconsistent opportunities for training and supervision
- We want to help school health staff feel more confident, less burnt out and more likely to stay in their positions.
